Wren & Rook
Wren & Rook – an imprint of Hachette – publishes brave, diverse and imaginative books for children and young people. We have worked with them on two projects: Rainbow Revolutions: Power, Pride and Protest in the Fight for Queer Rights and The Good Guys: 50 Heroes Who Changed the World with Kindness.
PROJECT
Book Design
Rainbow Revolutions: Power, Pride and Protest in the Fight for Queer Rights, charts the dramatic rise of the LGBTQ+ rights movement and celebrates the courageous individuals who stood up and demanded recognition.
The Good Guys: 50 Heroes Who Changed the World with Kindness, written by Rob Kemp, shows children it’s cool to be kind.
We teamed up with illustrator Paul Blow to create the 50 double-page spreads that showcase men who have changed the world with their kindness.
An antidote to the narrative that boys and men should be tough, powerful and wealthy, this book celebrates a different kind of male role model: one who demonstrates concern for others and a desire to make society fairer and better for everyone.
