We Mean This is a B Corp

By meeting high standards of social and environmental performance, transparency and accountability, we’ve joined a global community of 7,000 businesses in 90 countries committed to becoming a force for good.

Why did we do this?

  • In using the B Corp Impact Assessment as a framework to shape how we do business, we have:

  • Measured our carbon footprint

  • Set carbon reduction targets based on guidance and resources provided by the Science Based Targets initiative (SBTi) on a pathway to Net Zero

  • Embedded clear social and environmental policies into our organisation

  • Committed to specific and regular charitable donations of expertise and money

  • Changed our business bank account to an independently owned bank

  • Made a legal commitment to be accountable to all stakeholders: employees, customers, suppliers, communities and the environment, not just shareholders.

And a lot more along the way.

Like all B Corps, we’re not perfect

We will need to work very hard to recertify in 3 years time, and to hopefully improve on our B Corp score. But fundamentally that is what it is all about. It’s nice to have the badge, but what we have done and will need to continue to do, to keep it, is what matters.

If you’ve not considered B Corp we’d highly recommend it. It provides a clear framework to take action, for businesses who want to be as much about people and planet, as they are about profit.
