Well Thought operates at the intersection of design and strategy. They use an enhanced design-thinking framework connecting the strategic commercial thinking of enterprise with the creative thinking and user-centered approach of design. Working closely with the Well Thought team, we refreshed the identity with a more contemporary logotype and a warmer colour palette to add to their distinctive yellow and black. The raised exclamation point was also given some subtle movement to elevate the sense of creative freedom it signifies.
The majority of Well Thought’s output is cerebral and detailed. So the key to this project was working out how to showcase the depth of what they offer in an engaging and considered way, without bombarding the users with too much information. Working with regular collaborator Katherine Jackson, we designed a series of illustrations and animated gifs that help bring what they do to life.
